Michele Earl-Hubbard, founding member and past president of the Washington Coalition for Open Government, is a principal of the Allied Law Group LLC. She is also a former NFOIC board member and Washington State Delegate for the Society of Professional Journalists FOIA Committee. She specializes in media law, open government laws, and general litigation. Formerly a partner in the law firm Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, Michele was admitted to practice law in 1996. She has authored and edited numerous publications dealing with open government issues, including contributions to ACCESS, published by the Society of Professional Journalists and WCOG. In 2007 she was listed in Best Lawyers in America under First Amendment.
