From The Republic:
CAMDEN, Del. (Nov 16, 2012) — The chairman of a Delaware water and sewer authority says he expects an "information release" soon in a public records dispute.
Mark Dyer, chairman of the Camden-Wyoming Sewer and Water Authority, said Thursday that information would come probably by the end of the month. He didn't specify what records would be provided.
From San Francisco Chronicle:
DOVER, Del. (Nov 7, 2012) — A Kent County judge ordered a local water and sewer authority on Wednesday to comply with Delaware's Freedom of Information Act and disclose information about employee salaries.
The ruling came in a lawsuit filed by the state attorney general's office against the Camden-Wyoming Sewer and Water Authority. The lawsuit was filed on behalf of Georgette Williams, a member of the Wyoming town council who also serves as town treasurer.
After the authority refused to release its records, saying it is not a public body under state law, the General Assembly last year amended Delaware's public records law to specify that the authority is subject to open meetings and open records requirements.
