The 2024 FOI Summit will be held all day on Nov. 14 via Zoom. Here are the logistics of how it will work.
What platform will the summit be hosted on?
The conference is entirely virtual and hosted on the Zoom Events platform. (Note this is a change from previous years.)
You can register at this link, and you’ll receive the instructions to attend the summit and individual sessions.
What is required to register?
You need a Zoom account (a free account is fine) to register and attend the summit. If you don’t have a Zoom account, sign up for one at zoom.us.
Can I use an organizational Zoom account?
Each person who attends the summit will need to register and attend under a separate Zoom account.
Who can register as an NFOIC member?
Anyone who is a current, dues-paying member of NFOIC can sign up for the discounted member rate ($25) and attend the members-only session. If you aren’t sure whether you’re a current member, contact us at nfoic@nfoic.org.
How do I attend the summit on Nov. 14?
After you register, you’ll receive an email from Zoom with the joining link. All you have to do is click and sign into your Zoom account. Note that you can join Zoom Events from the Zoom desktop client, a web browser or Zoom mobile app.
