Michigan’s attorney general spoke for more than an hour to a packed auditorium Thursday at the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library in Midland about the transparency of the Michigan government — and occasional lack thereof.
Attorney General Dana Nessel gave a crowd of area residents a crash course education about the State of Michigan’s adherence to the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Open Meetings Act (OMA) in a public forum facilitated by the Midland Daily News and Michigan Press Association (MPA).
