The 10th episode of Idaho Attorney General Lawrence Wasden’s “Counsel for the State” podcast is out, and it focuses on the significance of Idaho’s open meeting and public records laws and this month’s open government seminars, including sessions coming up Monday in Boise and Thursday in Nampa. On the podcast, I join Wasden, Deputy Attorney General Brian Kane, and Scott Graf to discuss the laws, the issues, and what folks can learn about them at next week’s sessions.
Both sessions are part of a long-running collaboration between Wasden’s office and Idahoans for Open Government, a non-profit coalition of which I’m president; we’ve been putting on similar sessions around the state since 2004.
