Nancy Sebring says officials with Des Moines Public Schools have been slow to respond to requests for emails that she believes will “give a full picture” of what transpired following her May 10 resignation.
The former superintendent left her post after district staff members learned she had used her school email account to send and receive sexually explicit emails.
A new feature launched Thursday on the district’s website lists the results of every public records request received by the school system over the past year. Four of the five requests filed by Sebring are categorized as pending. A sixth request, filed by Sebring’s attorney Matt Brick, is also pending.
