- Philadelphia City Archive —PhillyHistory.org is run by the City of Philadelphia's Department of Records. As a government organization it does not have 501c3 status. Sales from the photos on PhillyHistory.org go towards the continued maintenance of the site and scanning of the over two million photographs found in the Archives.

- The Franklin Institute —In 1824, The Franklin Institute was established as the first professional organization of mechanical engineers and professional draftsmen in the United States. - Independence National Historical Park —The old cracked Bell still proclaims Liberty and Independence Hall echoes the words, "We the People." - Rodin Museum —The Rodin Museum was the gift of movie theater magnate Jules Mastbaum (American, 1872Ð1926) to the city of Philadelphia. Mastbaum began collecting works by Rodin in 1923 with the intent of founding a museum to enrich the lives of his fellow citizens.
- Philly Gallery Guide —A comprehensive guide of Philadelphia Art Galleries and exhibitions. All content found on the Philly Gallery Guide website has been contributed by participating galleries and museums.
- Public Art Program —The City of Philadelphia Public Art Program consists of the Percent for Art Program, and the Conservation and Collection Management Program, and supports the commissioning of new works of public art and oversees the preservation of the City's public art collection.
- Art Institute of Philadelphia —A private, four-year college with student enrollment reaching 3,600 in the fall of 2006.
- Historical Society of Philadelphia —The materials collected here represent various topics in Philadelphia history, gleaned from the Society's collections and interpretive activities. They offer a lens into the local, national and global stories in which Philadelphia has played a central role.
- Philadelphia City Archive —One of the country's largest municipal archives, with an estimated 2 million photographs that date from the late 1800's. These gorgeous pictures paint a stunning portrait of Philadelphia and its industry, architecture, culture and people.
- Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts —Kimmel Center, Inc., a charitable, not-for-profit organization, owns, manages, supports and maintains The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, which includes Verizon Hall, Perelman Theater, Innovation Studio and the Merck Arts Education Center. Kimmel Center, Inc. also manages the Academy of Music, owned by the Philadelphia Orchestra Association.

Infrastructure, public safety, transportation, and the like.
- PHILA.GOV —The official site of the city of Philadelphia.
- Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority —SEPTA's Center City Shopping Spree is operating with a new route and schedule. The new Spree route operates between 18th Street and Penn's Landing, traveling eastbound on Market Street and westbound on Walnut Street, extending service to attractions in Old City including Independence National Historical Park, The Bourse, and Penn's Landing.
